Yeah, I’ve talked more than enough about that facialanimationcode. I’m… I’m not going to say much more about it.
Even though there is still work on it to be done, to make it work with a different style of eyes. But I’m not going to talk much about that.
Instead, I’m just going to say that faces now work with “roll” as well. It’s fun, all that math!
Yeah, this post doesn’t hold that much information, but it seemed like a good piece of information to add, so that now, you don’t have to wonder anymore. I’m sure it kept you up at night. Well, not anymore. It works now!
It’s really amazing how much that rotating of the face adds to the spectrum of emotions. Turn your head a little, it really makes a difference. So I am glad that its in there! Especially because you “roll” your face* during “normal” actions as well. Looking at something to your side? Maybe reaching for a glass thats standing next to you while you read this blog? The face often rotates – just a little, but its enough to be noticeable, and it just looks weird if the angles of face and head don’t match.
So it was very important to implement this. And it wasn’t as easy as it should have been. I’m just… I just hope its working now.
